I think no 2 are the honey mushrooms, chiodini, armillaria mellea, edible, excellent! but if you want to eat any, have someone who knows check them
ReplyDeleteI've heard of honey mushroom, but chiodini is a good name. I don't think I'll be trying them though - advice or no advice!
ReplyDeleteGreat to know 'honey mushroom' It is wonderful to be with somebody who knows and is willing to teach. A couple of years ago I ate a bit of a very big fungi growing on a dead tree that a freind-of-a-friend recognised and called 'chicken in the wood'
